Werder Bremen eSports and Umbro have joined forces to drop a new jersey.
Formed in July 2018, Werder Bremen eSports compete in the Virtual Bundesliga Championship. The team’s roster currently includes three professional esports athletes - “Megabit”, “Fifabio” and “Predator FIFA”.
For 21/22, the jersey pays homage to the people of Bremen who are referred to as “Nordlichter” (Northern Lights). This is shown on the front with a vibrant graphic featuring a spectrum of colours just like the aurora borealis.
